Roles and missions of the Educational Manager

The position of Pedagogical Manager calls for a wide range of skills and responsibilities. He/she is responsible for coordinating teaching activities and ensuring the smooth running and follow-up of training courses. As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for :

Develop training content and programs;

Supervise the quality of teaching and the development of trainers' skills;

Support trainers in their preparation and delivery of courses;

Evaluate and analyze pedagogical follow-up information;

Recruit and train trainers;

Design and implement evaluation and monitoring tools;

Identify learners' needs and expectations;

Develop training plans adapted to the needs of each learner;

Manage and evaluate learners' assessments and results;

Set up systems and tools to optimize training;

Monitor learners and support them throughout their training;

Participate in research and pedagogical innovation.

You will also ensure that a climate of trust and respect is established between learners, trainers and other professionals involved in the educational process. Last but not least, the Training Manager is responsible for guaranteeing optimum quality of the training courses offered, and for complying with current regulations and legal obligations.

Salary and career development for a Training Manager

A Training Manager's salary depends on experience and location. On average, an Educational Manager earning a gross annual salary in France and depending on experience can expect the following:

0 to 2 years: between 40,000 and 45,000 euros

2 to 5 years: between 45,000 and 50,000 euros

5 to 10 years: between 50,000 and 60,000 euros

10 to 15 years: between 60,000 and 70,000 euros

Over 15 years: between 70,000 and 80,000 euros
