Introduction

Sulitest makes sustainability knowledge mainstream within higher education at an international scale.

How? Providing universities and Higher Education Institutions with online tools to measure and improve sustainability knowledge. While Sulitest, and our flagship product TASK, is well established in France, it is our priority to grow our international presence in the upcoming 12 months, especially in the UK, US, and Canada. Therefore, we are looking for another member for our Commercial team.

The Sulitest movement is strongly supported by major national and international NGOs and organizations (i.e. the United Nations and Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI)), and it has recently raised 1.5M€+ in 2022.

Responsibilities

As a Business Developer, you will help us deploy massively this vision abroad and your role will support both our Inbound & Outbound sales efforts, by conducting many business meetings. In other words, your responsibilities include:

  • Lead generation and prospecting: Identify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, attending events, and online outreach to grow our prospect base.
  • Qualify leads: Detect customer goals, major concerns, and pain points, as well as understand their context, decision process, and how we can help them.
  • Sales presentations: Conduct sales presentations directly to prospects, in events or through partner channels, to discover customer needs and explain and convince about Sulitest
  • Build relationships: Build and nurture strong and longterm relationships with partners and prospects, learning from their needs and concerns and helping us shape our commercial offers.
  • Events: Identify potential opportunities to represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

To achieve your goals, you will be supported by our senior sales manager and co-founder, as well as continue to learn and grow with your colleagues in the Business Development/Account Management team.

Your role may evolve over time as you and Sulitest evolve as well.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: We have one office in Paris (near the Cour Saint Emilion) and another in Marseille (in the “Parc National des Calanques” in Luminy). We prefer hybrid working (some days in-office, some days at home), although remote working may be considered dependant on the profile.

Profil recherché

Requirements

  • You have a 3-5 years of experience in business development, ideally with B2B/B2G large and complex organizations.
  • You are excited and feel comfortable with outbound business. You understand effort and patience needed to succeed in B2B/B2G long term signature process
  • You are engaged, autonomous and well-motivated to get new sales challenges done.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and are excited about the opportunity to join a startup
  • You are a good listener and have empathy and the agility to adapt to a wide range of people with different backgrounds
  • You are resourceful, solution-oriented and well organized
  • You are fluent in English and French (other languages are always a bonus)

Desired

  • You have experience in the education sector and/or with sustainability
  • You have experience working in UK, US, and/or Canada
  • You are confident with SaaS tools, CRM (Hubspot), Growth hacking, etc.
