Chief Commercial Officer (Executive Committee)

Beginning: June 2024

Based in France, Paris

Travels : 20%

PUR is recruiting its Chief Commercial Officer based in Paris

To develop its activities and accelerate its Impact, PUR is looking for a leader in Business Development and Commercial Management in fast paced scale-up environment with a passion for positive Impact and Nature Regeneration.
PUR is an Impact Driven Company, leader in “Nature Based Solutions”, pioneer in insetting practices and using cutting edge technologies to deliver long term projects.
As the global Chief Commercial Officer, you will be part of the Executive Committee, working directly with the CEO, making decisions that will impact the current and future commercial development of the company.

Summary of responsibilities
Sales strategy

- Work closely with the teams to get insightful knowledge of the NBS market and develop the Product & Sales strategy accordingly 
- Analyse competition and leverage key areas of improvement to maintain leadership on the market.
- Spearhead the business development strategy and make sure that it aligns with the Company’s objectives.
- Define sales roadmap for all business units

- Come up with creative ideas, challenge the strategies in place and make improvements wherever necessary


Sales Excellence
- Lead key account management & business development strategy & execution.
- Create and keep high-level professional relationships with customers by ensuring satisfaction at all stages of the relationship.
- Design the various aspects of the processes implemented by the company and ensure their good execution.
- Weigh the performance of the strategies implemented in terms of environmental & societal impacts as well as the financial one.
- Support actively the customer capture process including contractualization with the Legal team.

Revenue Monitoring

- Create accurate projections & monitor pipeline of opportunities.
- Work closely with the team to monitor the sales key indicators and ensure that all strategies are efficient from an impact & financial perspective.

Team Management

- Manage the global commercial team based worldwide. 

- Organize the global workload

- Make the team grow

Profil recherché

Desired qualifications & persona characteristics

● Passion for Nature Regeneration & Transforming Business

● MSc / MBA in international business or equivalent

● A minimum of 15 years of experience in Sales Management & Business Development Strategies role

● Experience in a fast international growing environment (scale-up environment)

● Experience in long lead-time management

● Ideally some experience in Sustainability or Impact, or a least a strong interest

● Some experience with large Corporations relationship is a plus

● Great people management & change management skills

● Good communications skills

● Full working proficiency in English is required. Working proficiency in French or Spanish would be an asset.
