Description of the mission

Help turn ZNTH’s next Salon into a carefully organised creative experience.

ZNTH is a Paris-based cultural nonprofit connecting emerging creatives across disciplines. Our Salons bring people together around conversation, creative exchange and collaboration. Following our first event, we are developing Salon002 and strengthening the production processes behind future events.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys making creative plans workable: identifying what needs to happen, coordinating people and following details through.

Your responsibilities:

• Help translate the Salon concept into a practical production plan.

• Track venue discussions, technical requirements, equipment and logistics.

• Maintain timelines, responsibilities and outstanding decisions.

• Coordinate with the production team, creative contributors and other departments.

• Gather quotes and identify dependencies for the finance team.

• Prepare event schedules, checklists and participant information.

• Support preparation, setup and delivery in Paris.

• Record lessons and organise the production handover after the event.

Our immediate milestones are a clear production timeline, verified venue and technical information, and an event plan the team can act on.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Planning can largely happen remotely, with attendance in Paris needed for agreed site visits, preparation and events. We envisage approximately 20 hours per week, agreed around availability, with an initial three-month commitment.

Profile

You have experience coordinating events, shoots, student projects or similar activities. You can organise information, follow up consistently and identify problems before they become urgent.

You are comfortable working with changing plans and can distinguish a proposal from a confirmed booking or commitment.

You can attend agreed activities in Paris and communicate in English. French is particularly useful for venue and supplier coordination.
