Friends-International (FI), an award-winning NGO founded in Phnom Penh in 1994, empowers children, youth, and their families to build brighter futures. Operating in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Europe, we combine innovative services with social business models. Through our social businesses — vocational training enterprises (restaurants, cafés, salons, shops), ChildSafe Experiences, consultancies, and International Social Engagement Programs — we create sustainable impact for children and youth.
THE ROLE
As a Social Business Development Volunteer/Intern based at our HQ in Phnom Penh, you will work closely with the Social Business Advisor and our Friends Social Business teams to support the development and growth of FI's social business initiatives. Your objectives:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by expanding Friends-International's network of potential clients, partners, and supporters.
- Increase awareness and engagement with Friends-International's social businesses through outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Contribute to the growth and sustainability of social businesses by supporting partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and promotional initiatives.
