Responsibilities:
As a Events & Communications Intern, you will work closely with the Events & Communications Coordinator and the Chief Operating Officer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of WIL Europe’s in-person and online events, networking activities, and leadership initiatives. You will contribute to ensuring the smooth running of our communications, event management, and the Women Talent Pool leadership programme, while helping strengthen the organisation’s visibility, engagement, and impact across Europe.
Tasks:
- Content creation – preparing the monthly newsletter; creating communication materials such as brochures and event and social media visuals.
- Project reports – collecting and analysing project data; preparing and conducting surveys with Members and WTP participants
- Interviews – organising, conducting, and editing interviews with Members and participants in the WTP programme, including liaising with and managing relationships with the volunteer team.
- Communications strategy – contributing to WIL Europe’s overall communications strategy, including designing visuals for LinkedIn, events, and the website, in order to increase visibility and impact.
- WTP Programme management – supporting the COO and Events & Communications Coordinator in ensuring the smooth operation of the WTP Programme, including onboarding participants and coordinating sessions and activities.
- Events support – assisting with the planning and delivery of WIL events, including coordinating logistics and maintaining relations with participants during events.

Requirements:
- Is studying, or has studied, communication, politics and social affairs or a related field.
- Creativity and the ability to come up with new ideas.
- Experience in social media management; knowledge and experience in web content-producing software, particularly Canva.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proactive, with good judgement and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; good working knowledge of French.
- Commitment to gender equality and the professional advancement of women.
- Eligible to complete an internship in France (i.e. able to provide a convention de stage or equivalent).
