We are looking for a curious, experienced and highly motivated Account Executive who shares our enthusiasm for regenerative and low carbon agriculture.

Soil Capital is on a mission to regenerate over 10 million hectares of land by 2030, addressing our environmental and food security challenges through regenerative and low-carbon agriculture. As a leading expert in this field, we have developed the first payment for ecosystem services program for farmers in Europe.

Through our certified programme and our platform, Soil Capital leads the food and ag sector transformation by engaging with blue chip organisations who seek to deliver on their environmental commitments and build supply chain resilience. These business purchase regenerative units, acting as an incentive for farmers to measure and earning improve their agricultural practices.

Our technology supports farmers by allowing them to efficiently and accurately measure farming practices, as well as the GHG balance of their farm which we then audit and certify to generate certificates. This helps farmers understand the levers to accelerate their adoption of regenerative practices.

In the past ten years, Soil Capital has established as a thought leader and a driver of change at scale in France, the U.K. and Belgium. Pursuing its ambitious growth trajectory, it is now expanding geographical and product scopes.

As we expand our impact, we are seeking an Account Executive who thrives in complex selling environments to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Creation & Closing
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities. Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Strategic Account Management
  • Develop and nurture high-value relationships with large corporate clients, focusing on multi-layered, long-term partnerships.
  • Complex Solution Selling
  • Lead discovery sessions to deeply understand client ecosystems, pains, and sustainability goals. Translate insights into bespoke solutions in collaboration with internal technical teams.
  • Stakeholder Alignment:
  • Navigate client organizations to engage decision-makers across procurement, sustainability, and executive teams, ensuring broad buy-in and alignment.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Stay ahead of trends in carbon standards, regulatory drivers, and supply chain dynamics, particularly in Europe, to position Soil Capital as a trusted advisor in the field.
Profil recherché

Experience & Expertise

  • Track Record in Complex Sales
  • Proven ability to close large, consultative deals involving multiple stakeholders in sectors like food, agriculture, or sustainability.
  • Strategic Problem Solver
  • Adept at dissecting intricate problems and designing tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Expertise in agriculture, environmental science, or supply chain management. Familiarity with carbon standards and Scope 3 dynamics is encouraged.

Skills & Traits

  • Influential Communicator
  • Exceptional ability to connect, influence, and build trust with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative & Agile
  • Skilled at cross-departmental collaboration and comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Bilingual Advantage
  • Fluency in French and English is required; other European languages are a plus.
