Driven by its long-term vision, sustainable development DNA and commitment to CSR and supported by its 3 strong shareholders Macquarie, British Columbia Investment and MEAG, REDEN is hiring its Project Engineer who will be part of the team of Reden Solar Italy. 

Location: Rome, Italy 

Contract: Full-Time


Post: What would be your role in the REDEN project?


  • Feasibility study: land constraints analysis, creation of preliminary design and yield calculation using specific software, analysis of the electrical connection solution in cooperation with the Business Development Department.
  • Design/review/optimization of raw land, utility-scale photovoltaic power plants.
  • Final design: development of final layouts, structural drawings, and electrical schematics of both the PV field and the connection infrastructures (MT – HT).
  • Interaction with advisors, developers, sales/construction team, field managers and other staff to optimize design decisions and yield.
  • Review all design documents from third parties (i.e. co-developers) for design efficacy, construction feasibility, accuracy, consistency, and fidelity to contracts and expected yield.

Profile: Who are you?


  • Engineering degree
  • Solid background (minimum 3 years) in utility-scale raw land PV plants design and connection infrastructure design 
  • Software: Autocad, Microsoft Excel, QGis or similar and PVSyst, at least
  • Languages: English essential – Fluency in French would be an asset
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills, executive-level reporting, timely action and decision-making in time-pressured scenarios
