What about the Regional Representative Gulf Countries ?
Under the supervision of the Head of Emergencies, Operational Development and Partnerships (RUDOP), the Regional Representative supports PUI in developing partnerships and strengthening its influence in the Gulf region. He/She is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, establishing long-term strategic partnerships, and diversifying resources (institutional donors, foundations, private sector) to secure a coherent positioning aligned with regional priorities, and to ensure PUI’s sustainable integration within the regional ecosystem. He/She works in close collaboration with headquarters to increase PUI’s visibility and impact.
For this purpose, you will be responsible for :
➜ Strengthen PUI’s presence and visibility in the Gulf region to secure sustainable funding for humanitarian operations.
➜ Diversify and develop financial partnerships (institutions, foundations, philanthropy, private sector) in GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain).
➜ Lead the regional resource mobilization strategy, ensuring compliance and alignment with local donor priorities.
➜ Build long-term trust-based relationships grounded in transparency and principled humanitarian engagement.
➜ Ensure internal coordination between regional opportunities and the operational needs of PUI missions.

What you will need to succeed
➜ Training
You hold Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field: international relations, humanitarian action, international development, social sciences, etc.
➜ Experience
Strengthened by At least 5 years of experience in managing funding from institutional humanitarian and development donors. Preferably in senior coordination positions such as Country Director or Deputy Country Director, external representation with institutional donors and foundations and experience developing innovative programmatic approaches.
➜ Skills
You have excellent writing and communications skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities are a must. A strong work ethic, ability to handle multiple priorities and respect deadlines will be appreciated.
➜ Qualities
Additional knowledge & skills : Knowledge of Gulf donors and foundations. Additional training (desirable)
➜ Languages
French and English has no secrets for you! All the better, it is mandatory for this position. If you speak Arabic, it would be a definite asset.

PUI will offer you
• Status : Executive with a Fixed-Term Contract
• Monthly Gross Income : 3 500€ per month, paid over 12 months
• Insurance :100% employer-funded health insurance and disability/life insurance plan
• Benefits : 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs and 60% employer contribution to meal vouchers (10 € each)
• Paid Leaves Policy : 5 weeks of paid annual leave + 1 RTT day (reduction of working time) per month (37-hour workweek)
