Focus on our activities in TCHAD

Notre mission au TCHAD existe depuis 2004. PUI y développe son approche intégrée avec la santé et la nutrition qui sont au cœur de ses interventions. PUI est déployée à l’est du pays et fournit un accompagnement sur la prévention et la lutte contre la malnutrition, mais intervient également sur d'autres urgences (inondations, crise Soudan). Aujourd’hui, la mission travaille sur 4 projets. La mission TCHAD supervise également les activités développées par PUI au Nord - Cameroun en RRM.

What about the Grants & Partenariats Coordinator ?

As Grants and Partnership coordinator, you will be part of PUI funding strategy to expand its portfolio with new donors, lead the funding opportunities follow up and donor mapping; assess the existing in-country sources of funding and donors’ strategies. and engage with new donors to support PUI mission funding efforts.

For this purpose, you will be responsible for :

➜ Grants Management : Coordinate program design in line with PUI operational strategy, proposal development and donor reporting; Analyse donors' guidelines and ensure donor compliance through information sharing and capacity-building.

➜ Partnership Strategy, Development and Management: Lead partnerships strategy and guidance development and supervises the roll-out of adapted partnerships management tools; Develops the portfolio of PUI’s operational partners; Responsible overall for supports to partners, partnerships follow-up, monitoring and quality, in close coordination with and involving other departments and the SMT.

➜ Team Management: Depending on the mission HR setup, provide support and line manage the Grants Manager(s)/Officer(s), Partnership Manager(s)/Officer(s)/Advisor(s) and Communications manager/officer(s) in setting priorities, foster a common working relationship.

What you will need to succeed

Training

You hold a degree in projects management, political sciences, international development, humanitarian studies, public administration, social sciences or any other relevant areas.

Experience

Strengthened by at least 5 years of previous NGO experience. With a minimum of 3 years in Grants management and/or Partnership management roles. You already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It would be a definite asset! Strong experience in funding strategy and grants management, with a variety of institutional and private donors at international level. Experience in external representation and funding negotiation. Strong experience in partnerships management, especially in partnerships strategy & guidance development and follow-up/monitoring of partnerships between international and local actors in humanitarian settings, as well as proven experience in developing and implementing capacity-strengthening approaches between international and local actors. Successful experience in expatriate and national team management.

Skills

Proven skills in proposal development, grants management and monitoring and evaluation, Excellent knowledge of major institutional donors’ rules and policies (OFDA, ECHO, AAP, UN agencies …), Proven skills in donor prospection and negotiation, Proven skills in partnerships identification, management and review.

Languages

French and English has no secrets for you! All the better, it is mandatory for this position. If you speak Spanish, it would be a definite asset.

PUI will offer you

Status : Employé(e) with a Fixed-Term Contract

Monthly Gross Income : 2650.00 - 3130.00 EUR depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI

Insurance including medical coverage and complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance and repatriation

Housing in collective accomodation

Daily Living Expenses ("Per Diem")

Break Policy : 5 working days at 3 and 9 months + break allowance

Paid Leaves Policy : 5 weeks of paid leaves per year + return ticket every 6 months
