Blunomy…… from Intention to Impact

Blunomy is an international consulting & data firm, dedicated to accelerating the move towards a regenerative society that is decarbonised, circular and inclusive. We do this by partnering with those in the energy supply chain as well as financial institutions, businesses and entrepreneurs to ensure the transition of their resources from brown to green.

We have been operating since 2007, previously trading as Enea Consulting, and continue to expand our international team of Blunomists. Our high performing, multidisciplinary team are based across 5 offices: Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Paris and London. We come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, are open minded and focused on the future, united by shared values and are passionate about sustainable development and energy access.

We are looking for a passionate, engaging, and ambitious Developer to join our team in either Melbourne or Sydney. We invite all of those who want to break the mould to join us to take it from Intention to Impact!

Profil recherché

About you

We are looking for a motivated and talented person. The right person will have some of the following and a willingness and ability to learn the rest:

You are passionate about the energy transition and climate change, with a strong interest for energy, environment and/or sustainable development
An undergraduate degree or a postgraduate in a relevant discipline such Computing Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Maths or related fields
1-3 years’ experience in software development, data engineering or data science will be highly regarded.
Technical skills:
- Strong software engineering and application development skills
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, APIs or distributed systems
- Familiarity with source control (such as Git) and collaborative development practices
- Proficiency in Python
- Knowledge of cloud computing (such as Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Experience with parallel or distributed computing frameworks is a plus.
As well as:
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively to project timelines
- Fluency in English is Mandatory
