AXA Climate is looking to expand its pricing team with a motivated risk analyst, within the Insurance Ecosystem. Currently composed of three people, including a Senior Data Scientist, and an Experienced Risk Modeler, the Pricing Team focuses on developing the pricing models, the pricing tools and the pricing guidelines for underwriters. It is also in charge of maintaining and developing the relationship with our risk carriers, to achieve trust and transparency. The Pricing Team is at the core of the Insurance's strategy, to build new products, conduct risk analysis, and ensure the best underwriting decisions with a risk-oriented perspective.
The team works closely with underwriters on a day-to-day basis, chief underwriting officer, external data providers, and risk carriers.
The main missions will comprise Catastrophe Modeling, Pricing Tool development, Accumulation analyses, etc. in close collaboration with underwriters. Data being at the core of AXA Climate's activities, a strong appetite for data analysis and modeling is outlooked, to better develop products, reduce basis risks, and advise underwriters for the best risk decisions. A strong emphasis is put on the development of pricing tools through our Streamlit platform, for UW to quickly access climate data, use internal model and run risk analysis on a user-friendly interface.
The Pricing Analyst is likely to work on a wide range of perils, including Tropical Cyclone, Earthquake, Hail, Tornado, Wildfire, etc.
