Accelerating sustainable mobility for all.

The deputy of the Process & Manufacturing Mechanical team is in charge to assist the manager in all the missions of the team.  The team is in charge to define and optimize processes with R&D inputs, to industrialize the process (RFI, RFQ, FAT, Commissioning, SAT) in all plant of ACC.  The deputy manager directly manage the process team (process engineer, specialist and expert, …). 

  • Process mentor : Mechanical assembly, ideally in prismatic batteries gigafactories. 
  • Define with R&D team the ideal process parameters to be applied on our existing and new equipment. 
  • Responsible to track and measure mechanical process activities (time, resources, performance, results). 
  • Overview project status with our team and the suppliers, follow Equipment Suppliers during the installation & ramp up of equipment. Establish related lessons learned and continuous improvement activities. 
  • Participate in design and evolution of equipment. 
  • Risk manage uncertainties and define action plans to solve problems. 
  • Focus on processes optimization: cycle times, OEE, capabilities, and propose improvements to reach specifications or to be more stable (better yield), aiming all process indicators on Mechanical processes are at Benchmark level. 
  • Lead module assembly new processes technologies, competition survey and benchmark. 
  • Share with Mechanical manager the following tasks : 
  • Management of the process team (recruit, train, coach, define objectives, manage to achieve results)  
  • In case of deviation or issues on some plant , to support (even to participate) the Problem Solving 
Profil recherché

Know How

Technical knowledge related to mechanical processes (i.e. cutting, welding, assembly, conveying, controls..) and drying processes. Team and project leadership with purpose and efficiency, in  a multicultural environment. 

Experience

  • 10 years of experience process engineering (Lithium Battery most preferred). If not, experience in mass production (automotive or similar) 
  • 5 years of Team Management (Engineers & Technicians) 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Sciences in industrial engineering (mechanical will be appreciate)  
  • French & English is mantadory, German and/or Chinese appreciated

  • Experience in ramp up of gigafactories (zero to full capacity)
