The deputy of the Process & Manufacturing Mechanical team is in charge to assist the manager in all the missions of the team. The team is in charge to define and optimize processes with R&D inputs, to industrialize the process (RFI, RFQ, FAT, Commissioning, SAT) in all plant of ACC. The deputy manager directly manage the process team (process engineer, specialist and expert, …).
- Process mentor : Mechanical assembly, ideally in prismatic batteries gigafactories.
- Define with R&D team the ideal process parameters to be applied on our existing and new equipment.
- Responsible to track and measure mechanical process activities (time, resources, performance, results).
- Overview project status with our team and the suppliers, follow Equipment Suppliers during the installation & ramp up of equipment. Establish related lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in design and evolution of equipment.
- Risk manage uncertainties and define action plans to solve problems.
- Focus on processes optimization: cycle times, OEE, capabilities, and propose improvements to reach specifications or to be more stable (better yield), aiming all process indicators on Mechanical processes are at Benchmark level.
- Lead module assembly new processes technologies, competition survey and benchmark.
- Share with Mechanical manager the following tasks :
- Management of the process team (recruit, train, coach, define objectives, manage to achieve results)
- In case of deviation or issues on some plant , to support (even to participate) the Problem Solving
