Context & Overall job definition :
The maintenance manager contributes to a methodical monitoring of the equipment by managing the maintenance, the improvement of industrial production equipment and its adaptation to changes in organization or technologies. Its intervention aims to improve the maintainability of the productive tool, to avoid production stop, to prevent and treat breakdowns
Main missions :
- Maintain the necessary authorizations to operate the site & be legal compliant
- Guarantees the application of methodologies and associated standards
- Maintain continuity of utilities supply at all time
- Improves means, skills and processes via progress tools (such as long failure analysis)
- Achieve the operational budget of Maintenance site
- Achieve required service level of Maintenance site functions
- Develop Maintenance site "Want to be" aligned to the plant Masterplan
Maintenance :
- Implementation of SMM within Maintenance and Facilities Management (CMMS) through training and coaching of the Maintenance Area Managers, Technicians and Service Providers
- Support the Manufacturing strategy implementation.
- Drive the improvement of maintenance skills within the areas through the application of skills assessment and coordination of training activities
- Coordination of the plant shutdown periods (Summer & Christmas)
Cost control:
- Management of spare parts stock value.
- Reducing the site's energy consumption to achieve strategy through the application of all best practices
- Manage the transversal animation of the departments overhead to achieve the Maintenance site target and performance
- Define content of subcontracts
- Maintenance Investment definition
Utilities, building, environment services provided :
- Ensure the maintenance of all buildings and infrastructure (utilities for Dry room and other) on the site
- Planning and completion of all regulatory controls
