The Innovation and technology engineer will contribute to build up connection between ACC Italy and research institute, University and organization in Italy. Follow, monitor and manage Innovation and technology in Italy with closed collaboration with R&D central Bruges by identifying and defining new area of research and innovation in Italy according to ACC innovation and strategies.
Research, Development and Engineering Implementation of next Generation processes and technology in Termoli.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead innovation activities and new technology monitoring in Termoli as they relate to the development and implementation major process and product changes/upgrades (e.g. dry process, GEN3+, GEN4/4+)
- Execution of technical process technology exploration activities in close collaboration with equipment suppliers
- Identifying and defining new area of research and innovation in Italy according to ACC innovation and strategies.
- Build up and assure close interaction within ACC industrialization teams and ACC innovation and development teams to assure smooth ramp up and industrialization of innovative process technologies. Early involvement in projects and active participation.
- Pro-active sharing of production and development experience by contributing to running and next generation projects in FMEA, Audit preparation, etc. groups
- Be and build point of knowledge in the site of Termoli for all new process and product technologies relevant to our Gigafactory as it relates to R&D
- Centralize innovation inputs/outputs from/for customer & ACC teams (purchasing, Industrialization, Project Lead, …) for all innovation questions and deliverables on innovation projects – KPI : data on-quality and on-time delivery.
- Lead its project/development with a high level of reliability and organize the design review of its team.
- Critical, independent analysis of innovative process technologies prior to implementation in Termoli Gigafactory
- Presentation of the conclusions add various hierarchy levels at ACC and externally
- Representation of ACC in industrial consortia with emphasis on next level process technologies
- Actively share best practice experience, suggestions for overall process improvements
