Accelerating sustainable mobility for all.

Overall job definition :

This position will assist the Accounting Manager for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

The position will be responsible of the GL accounting and reporting within the perimeter of ACC Group (France, Germany, Italy)

Main missions :

Define/Establish….

  • Define a working calendar per entity to ensure that all the tasks are executed for each ACC entity.

 Build…

  • Establish a monthly balance sheet reconciliation and a P&L analysis explaining the monthly variances of the expenses and revenues for each ACC entity.
  • Those files must meet all controls required by the closing procedure and must be formalized and approved by the CFO on a quarterly basis.

Guarantee…

  • Ensure that all documents and information are recorded on-time and accurately in the accounting system respecting local legal and corporate regulations.
  • Inventory checks: assists local finance controllers in controlling compliance between physical and accounting inventory, assists local finance controllers in controlling compliance between balance sheet and P&L changes, ensure all the required documentation is available for External and Tax auditors (physical inventory statement, WAC calculations, Accounting reconciliation)
  • GL: payroll entries booking and reconciliation, ensure that the matching of payroll entries is done by the service provider monthly, bi-weekly employee expenses posting, check that all entries are posted on the correct accounts with the relevant supporting documentation.
  • Monthly closing : respect the deadlines and the closing calendar, ensure that all the relevant accruals, adjustments and prepaid expenses are posted on time, post the necessary monthly closing entries and adjustments, controls and explains the P&L and balance sheet variances, assist in the monthly consolidated reporting by providing the necessary data in the dedicated tool and controlling the final consolidated reports in assistance with the Accounting Manager and Finance Team.
  • Fixed Assets: Assists the local finance teams in the fixed assets management by controlling the supporting documents, the depreciation duration, the cost amount and account and the posting of entries, ensures the Fixed assets in progress accounts monthly reconciliation, controls on a monthly basis the variances in Fixed assets costs and depreciations, controls on a monthly basis the integrity between GL and Fixed Assets module.
  • Treasury: controls the correct allocation of bank entries and supervises the reconciliation of the suppliers payments accounts (511xxx)
  • VAT: ensures a monthly VAT reconciliation for output and input VAT and follow up of anteriority.
  • Taxes: ensures the taxes are posted on the correct accounts and reconciled with their payment, assists the Tax Service provider when needed for the tax returns.

 Lead…

  • Management of the service provider Grant Thornton on their daily and monthly GL tasks.
  • Lead the monthly Balance sheet reconciliation formalization by ensuring that all the supporting documents justifying the balances are shared by the relevant people and by requiring any correction/adjustments needed.

 Contribute…

  • Contributes to putting in place a solid fiscal calendar and controls the fiscal returns, their payments, and the related accruals.
  • Contributes to External Audit by providing the necessary financial data.
  • With AP and AR management, contributes to ensure the correct VAT and withholding tax allocation on invoices.
  • Contributes to making reliable interco procedures: justification of the invoicing (with supportive documents), update the partner, Interco confirmation, weekly and monthly reconciliation.
  • Contributes, with finance controllers, to putting in place a monthly follow up of recurring expenses for review and accruals.

 Share…

  • Share with Finance teams the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and the P&L analysis and ensure a monthly review of the formalized analysis.
Profil recherché

Knowledge :

  • Accounting in French GAAP AND IFRS
  • Consolidation skills
  • Good knowledge of ERP and consolidation tools

Experience :

5 years of accounting at least

Qualifications :

Degree in Accounting (3 years degree)

Our process usually involves 3 interviews: 2 technical and one HR.
