Overall job definition:

The Manager, After-Sales Team - Automotive Batteries is responsible for the effective management and supervision of a team responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and customer service related to automotive batteries. They must ensure that the team's activities run efficiently, delivering quality service while adhering to safety standards and customer satisfaction requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1.        Team Supervision:

  • Manage and mentor a team of automotive battery technical experts diagnostic & analysis.
  • Schedule work hours, vacations, and training for the team.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

2.       After-Sales Operations Management:

  • Plan and organize activities related to automotive battery maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Monitor turnaround times and ensure service quality.

3.       Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Implement quality control protocols and performance tracking.

4.       Internal Customer Management:

  • Manage internal customer relationships, address issues, and ensure high-quality support for aftersales-claim-management.
  • Collect internal customer feedback and implement corrective measures as needed.

5.       Product defect analysis:

  • Manage product defect analysis, identify root-causes of customer claimed modules and piloting highly reactive corrective actions together with relevant partners of quality, engineering and after-sales.

6.       Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations adhere to safety standards.
  • Ensure the team complies with all automotive battery-related regulations and legal requirements.
  • Triggering Safety-Alert based on defined criteria from product safety organization

7.        Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on team performance and key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Profil recherché

Knowledge:

  • Team recruitment and management
  • Knowledge of battery and related manufacturing, testing & diagnostic

Experience:

  • Previous team management experience in the automotive or after-sales industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive batteries and their systems.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Knowledge of automotive safety regulations and standards

Qualification:

  • Engineering Degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering. PhD or equivalent
  • English & French mandatory
