Over the past 5 years, we have learned that addressing climate adaptation only through risk management is a dead end.
Adapting means embracing a systemic view of risks—both environmental and social—and understanding how they are interconnected. Adapting it’s about recognizing the unique realities of local contexts.fostering cooperation among stakeholders, beyond individual interests. Adapting is essential to ensure the long-term viability of our communities and businesses. Adapting also means not forgetting the importance of making bold strides to reduce our emissions significantly—and doing so with urgency.
This vision drives how we integrate our expertise with insights from scientists:
Over 6 million employees have been trained on environmental issues through 40+ hours of digital content, helping them adapt their skills and guide their companies through the transition.
More than 100,000 industrial sites, agricultural areas, and public entities have been analysed to identify their climate and environmental risks for 2030 and 2050, enabling local actors to adapt practices based on their specific needs.
In under 5 minutes, with Altitude, our software solution, clients can access scientific and financial data, empowering them to independently implement adaptation strategies for climate, biodiversity, and carbon.
Over 1,000 payouts were made within a matter of hours to farmers, businesses and vulnerable communities impacted by climate hazards through our parametric insurance, providing immediate relief and supporting long-term adaptation.
