Watuchi is a non-profit organisation dedicated to book publishing and peer learning for the preservation of indigenous languages. For anybody interested in getting more formal experience in language revitalisation and the non-profit sector, we are opening some volunteering positions:

social media (online)
research (online)
multimedia publishing (online)
community management (online)
event planning (in Lima, Peru)
event planning (in New York, USA)

Volunteering terms:

4h/week for 3 months (Feb. 1st-May 1st 2025), unpaid

Para quienes estén interesadxs en tener más experiencia en la revitalización lingüística y el sector sin ánimo de lucro, estamos abriendo los puestos siguientes:

edición multimedia (a distancia)
gestión comunitaria (a distancia)
gestión de eventos (en Lima, Perú)
gestión de eventos (en Nueva York, EEUU)

Términos del voluntariado:

4h/sem. por 3 meses (1 de Feb.-1 de Mayo 2025), no remunerado

Volunteer profile:

interest in gaining experience in one of the positions listed below
strong interest in indigenous languages, language revitalisation & the nonprofit sector
knowledge of Spanish and/or English and *ideally* also of an indigenous language of the Americas
