What we're looking for 👀
CarbonFarm is looking to hire a Mobile App Developer Intern to come work with us in Paris.
We are a diverse team of 20 people, working towards decarbonising rice farming using satellite imagery and artificial intelligence.
You will be working principally with a senior full stack developer, but will also have the opportunity to learn from the rest of the company, such as our data architect, scientific software engineers and product manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working at the intersection of technology, science and the environment.
Ideally, you would have a keen eye for design and some experience working with maps and geospatial visualisations as well as other forms of statistical data visualisations.
The role is in-person at Station F in Paris, France, with a flexible start date.
What you’ll be doing 💻
You will be working directly alongside the our web & mobile apps engineers, who are currently in the process of building out the next phase of mobile app functionality at CarbonFarm.
Learn how engineers at CarbonFarm:
- Develop cross-platform mobile apps to enable data collection in the field
- Integrating the mobile apps into the wider data workflows
- Carry out the design process, to create mobile apps that are useful, intuitive, and robust
- Create geospatial visualisations using industry standard mapping libraries
- Collaborate with stakeholders on the team, and with our clients
