Buyer’s Role Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer’s Assistant to join our team. This role involves a mix of administrative support, vendor communication, inventory management, research, and project assistance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on projects while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Profil recherché

Order Management (90% admin)

* Processing purchase orders, tracking order status and shipments with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.

* Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or delays.

Inventory Management:

* Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with other departments to maintain optimal stock levels, and updating inventory records.

Internal Administrative Support:

* Assisting with administrative tasks such as maintaining supplier files, organizing procurement documents, and recording/coding raw materials internally.

* Managing procurement documentation within the Odoo ERP system.

* Coordinating sample management for R&D projects and ensuring regulatory documentation compliance.

Projects research (10%) :

* Researching potential suppliers, products and obtaining quotes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • You know how to keep your cool in stressful situations
  • You have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment!
  • You are Fluent in French and English
