Blunomy is looking for a People and Recruitment Specialist responsible for a range of activities in Singapore and Hong Kong, and possibly across the APAC region, depending on your experience. The ideal candidate will be organised and autonomous and help every team member excel by creating an inspiring, engaging and healthy work environment.
Your day-to-day contribution can be discussed depending on your strengths and experience. Key areas of responsibility may include:
1. Recruitment:
- Lead all recruitment activity for the Singapore and Hong Kong offices and partner with global HR teams to complete the talent acquisition/retention programs as required
- Manage candidates through ATS system (Welcome to the Jungle)
2. HR Operations:
- support with Payroll as required
- manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including contracts, visa and work permits, onboarding schedules, IT set up etc.
3. Business partnering:
- Partner with the global team to roll out global and regional HR programs and policies in SG and HK office
- Advocate and execute initiatives for enhancing our HR processes and programs for better supporting our local business and people development;
- Ensure compliance as required by the local employment laws and regulations
4. Culture Champion/Employee Experience
- Contribute to the Employee Experience and help us champion our culture
- Organise team building activities (team seminars, birthdays, end of year events, etc.)
- Create an inspiring, engaging, fun and positive work environment while championing balance and mental health in a dynamic environment.
We seek a motivated, experienced and passionate person to join our growing team. The right person will have some of the following and a willingness and ability to learn the rest:
- You are passionate about the energy transition and climate change, with a strong interest for energy, environment and/or sustainable development
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- At least five years of direct recruitment experience in a headhunting agency or within a high-growth company or start-up
- Good knowledge of Singapore Labour Law and local regulations
- A passion for people. You should be smart, thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and excited to bring out the best in people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work cross-functionally at all levels in the organisation and across offices. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
