« Microtech » and « Foundry » Teams
At the heart of the Microtech team’s work is a marvel of miniaturized engineering: the microfluidic bio-processor. This device is designed to control every step of drug production at the microfluidic scale with unparalleled precision. The team also develops single-use components that complement this technology. The Foundry team is dedicated to designing, validating, and implementing an industrial and automated production line for these micro-technologies while adhering to the strict quality and regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical sector. This internship will be supervised by robotics engineer Vincent Fortineau, in collaboration with both teams, whose work is deeply intertwined.
Internship mission
Astraveus requires precise control over several parameters in various processes, whether related to the bio-processor itself or the production line's equipment. This internship will focus on controlling pressure and flow across broad operating ranges to ensure the proper execution of biological and physical processes, even under system model variations. The work will involve improving or modifying existing models to propose observation and control strategies that meet performance and robustness specifications. Various control methods will be explored depending on the needs of each process, ranging from PID control to Model Predictive Control (MPC) and state feedback with observers. You will validate the chosen control architectures, tune them through simulations, and implement them on real systems.
