Job Description

As part of the Region's finance team, you will be responsible for monitoring the management, control and legal life of the Boulouparis project company mainly. Your support will be required for other project companies in New Zealand. You will work closely with the Boulouparis project team and the local accounting firm in New Caledonia as well as with the Corporate Finance Manager in Paris.

  • Manage lender’s
    • Follow up project contractual obligations with lenders (credit agreements).
    • Manage drawdown
    • Edit compliance certificate
    • Report to Lenders
  • Follow up project costs
    • Closely monitor project contracts financial/physical execution
    • Controlling of CAPEX and OPEX budgets
    • Register and allocate invoices
    • Follow up equity uses
    • Manage debt drawdown
    • Manage VAT credit and hedging
    • Coordinate payment campaigns
  • Manage day to day communication with Equity partners
    • Manage financial communication and external reporting
  • Participate to project team activities
    • Regular meetings
    • Reporting
  • Accounting and financial closing
    • Interfaces between the Accounts Department, the Operations Department, the Legal Department and external accountant
    • Ensures that management data tallies with accounting data,
    • Provides the local accountant with all the operational information needed to close the accounts

Qualifications

Educational qualifications and experience

  • 3+ years' education in Finance, 5 years is a plus
  • First experience (5+ years) in project controlling / accounting or auditing
  • Project controlling during construction stages within Energy / Industry Renewable energy as an Owner and/or as an EPC Contractor will be a plus

Competencies

  • Technical Knowledge (ERP systems, Reporting tools, financial analysis) and Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect well with stakeholders.
  • Team player, resilient and with strong business and personal ethics.
  • Organization and planning capabilities to work autonomously.
  • Ambitious, hard-working, and willing to quickly take on responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
  • Able to work in an informal environment (fast-growing group).

Language skills

  • French and professional English, oral and written.

Working Conditions

  • Business trip(s): to Wellington, New Zealand occasionally
