This position is for your acquaintance who:

  • Is deeply passionate for social impact and strategic philanthropy

Epic is a dynamic and forward-thinking international foundation, committed to drive positive change in the world and transform the lives of vulnerable communities around the world. It serves as a bridge between those on the ground, nonprofits forging solutions to today’s most pressing challenges, and the donors – individual and corporate – who are essential to fueling that work.

We find, select, and monitor nonprofit organizations who design and implement essential solutions to transform the lives of children and youth, and protect our planet for generations to come. As a grantmaker, we have historically dedicated our funding to the issues affecting children and youth in regard to their human development – their education, economic empowerment, health, rights and protection. Since 2022, acknowledging that the greatest existential threat to current and future generations is climate change, we curate a second portfolio of nonprofits dedicated to Environment and Livelihoods issues. Since our creation in 2015, Epic has mobilized over 70 million dollars and supported 51 organizations in 11 countries in the world.

Epic Foundation is looking for a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to lead our programmatic efforts.

  • Oversee and manage ongoing trimester monitoring of portfolio organizations - interviews and ongoing analysis of overall performance, growth and evolution of the nonprofits - with a capacity to innovate and integrate tech tools to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Streamline and align grantmaking strategy with Operations and Development teams practices.
  • Develop a capacity-building approach providing ad-hoc technical support to organizations as relevant and necessary
  • Collaborate with other Epic teams to develop internal and external knowledge management and promote the work of our grantee partners; strongly contribute to Development and Engagement strategies for donor acquisition and retention and closely collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams.
