LIFE PROJECT 4 YOUTH
LP4Y is a federation of 17 local organizations in 14 countries whose aim is the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social inclusion of Young people (17-24 yo) coming from extreme poverty and victims of exclusion.
Over the past 14 years, LP4Y has created solutions, always close to slum areas in large cities or in rural areas in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, and Lebanon working closely with the Young Adults who are contributing to the development of their country and community.
Since 2009, LP4Y has supported the inclusion of 6,715 Young Adults, and their families, into the professional world.
They have been accompanied thanks to 19 Training and Development Centers, 6 Green Villages, 4 Little Angel Academies, and 2 LP4Y Labs in South East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

ACCOMPANY
the most excluded Youth thanks to a tested pedagogy and ecosystem allowing them to find sustainable jobs on their own and to be socially included in the decent world.
CAMPAIGN
with young adults coming from extreme poverty to offer concrete, grassroots solutions addressing inclusion issues and giving them a platform.
ENGAGED
all initiatives in favor of young adults in danger by sharing the expertise acquired, counseling, creating Youth inclusion networks, and offering services and training.
Program Coordinator - Social & Professional Inclusion of Young adults
Once trained in the LP4Y Pedagogy and in the use of our tools, the Program Coordinator (called a Coach within LP4Y pedagogy) will take part in supporting a team of 15 to 20 Young Adults (17 to 24 years old) by developing its skills in the following domains:
Pedagogy and follow-up of the Young Adults, so that they gain confidence in their capacity to act and therefore find and keep a decent job.
Development of a Micro-Company (social entrepreneurship) to enable them to develop: Soft skills; business, management, organization, planning, communication, professionalism, time management
Hard Skills; digital literacy, English / Globish basic communication skills
Partnership development to create and develop an integrated ecosystem for the Youth.
Organization and management: organization of program activities in collaboration with other Catalysts, budget management, follow up and reporting of the activities along with the coordination team in support.
The Coach is accompanied on a daily basis by the country coordinator, who is supported by Project Leaders, and specialists in each of these pillars.
The mission can be located:
in a Training and Development Center (TDC); in urban areas, the Youth live in the community near the center and receive 6-month training
in a Green Village (GV); in rural areas, the Youth live on-site for a 3-month training period

For this mission the coach should be passionate about development and have a first field experience inside an organization or company. She/he will keep a positive, encouraging and valorizing look on the Youth, keeping in mind the influence of the image of himself/herself she can reflect. She/he will develop his/her know how to be and his/her know how in a multicultural context. She/he will transmit with humor and enthusiasm. She/he knows how to work in a team.
The minimum duration of this mission is 13 months, and will appeal to candidates who are ready to learn and passionate about intercultural cooperation. We recommend being open to a 24 month’s mission as we believe that this duration will allow you to acquire a more profound Catalyst experience and to develop both your professional and personal aspects.
Successful candidates will be open, dynamic and enterprising, and looking for an opportunity to develop their character and skills in a multi-cultural context. They will also enjoy communicating with humor, enthusiasm and will be keen team players, committed to making a real difference in the field. Fluent English is required. Having already acquired previous professional experience would be a plus.
