Role Description

We are looking for an AI & Data Project Manager Intern to help us responsibly leverage data and artificial intelligence to improve our processes, strengthen impact measurement, and support the team’s adoption of emerging technologies. Under the supervision of our Chief Finance & Impact Officer, you will:

1. Tools & Processes

  • Design and/or improve internal tools to streamline processes such as:
  • Preparing bids and proposals
  • Time tracking, resource allocation, project management
  • Financial & Impact monitoring and reporting
  • Facilitate data transfer between existing tools.
  • Integrate best practices in data protection, security, and environmental impact of AI into our workflows.

2. Capitalization & Data Valorization

  • Structure and organize data from our projects to ensure accessibility and usability.
  • Develop advanced visualization methods to make data meaningful and actionable.
  • Highlight insights from project data to support diagnostics, studies, and storytelling for partners and stakeholders.

3. Team Training & Acculturation

  • Organize workshops and training sessions to introduce AI concepts and practical applications.
  • Monitor trends and emerging use cases in AI and data for sustainable development

Conditions

  • 6 months, with the possibility of continuation
  • Full-time (35h/week)
  • Paid internship, depending on profile and location
  • Location: one of Kinomé’s offices in Paris (France), Tallinn (Estonia), or Antananarivo (Madagascar)
  • Start: February/March 2026

Profile

Know-how

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program or equivalent in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy.
  • Familiarity with data management, visualization tools, and programming languages (Python preferred).
  • Understanding of AI ethics, data security, and sustainability principles.
  • Fluent in English; notions of French would be a plus.
