Leur ambition ? Devenir le premier partenaire mondial dans la détection précoce des troubles de la marche et de l’équilibre et l’amélioration de leur prise en charge.

Comment ? En développant des semelles avec des capteurs de pression et de mouvement et un logiciel embarqué qui analyse la marche et récolte des données en vie réelle.


FeetMe is looking for a Data Engineer with experience in automation in the field of clinical development. You will help to build and maintain functional systems that improve customer experience and scale IT infrastructure to match pharmaceutical industry and medical device standards.

Data Engineer responsibilities include developing, maintaining and testing data pipelines that will help the data science team.

As part of the Data Engineer responsibilities, it also includes:
 expanding and optimizing our data flow and data pipeline architecture
 identifying, designing and implementing internal processes improvements, automating manual processes for data cleansing, data validation and data transformation
 Developing tools for data collection, data visualization and data quality check process for clinical studies, proposing data formats allowing for an easy data validation, analysis and processing
 Assembling large, complex data sets and making sure they meet clinical industry requirements
 Participating in the redefinition of the infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, in order to reach a greater scalability
 Working hand in hand with data, analytics and IT experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

You’ll join a team of 8 software engineers who develop the embedded software for the insole, the mobile applications and the web platform.

You’ll have a strong interaction with the different departments at FeetMe. You’ll work in FeetMe offices in a young and challenging ecosystem.

Profile

We are looking for a talented profile with the following requirements :

 Work experience as a Data Engineer or similar software engineering role
 Comfortable with Google Cloud Platform
 Good knowledge with a scripting language Python, Bash
 Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
 Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ pipelines of ETL (ie Airflow, Prefect),
 Knowledge of architectures and data management for data cleansing and data validation
 Building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
 Problem-solving attitude and excellent communication skills;
 Team spirit
 BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Open minded culture and will to learn new technologies
 Comfortable with bash, git, CI/CD (such as Gitlab-CI)
 Experience creating reporting dashboard

The following competence will be a plus:
 Previous experience in Health related companies
 Knowledge in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code tools
 Experience with docker and Kubernetes
 Experience with agile methodology
