✨ Your job as Senior Underwriter
As part of AXA Climate Insurance team, the Senior Underwriter has a key responsibility for the business both in terms of growth and profitability, not only to deliver the plan in the day to day, but also to build the strategic assets enabling the delivery of the plan. Here are the main challenges and missions you will be accountable for:
Underwrite parametric insurance deals
Manage risk analysts who are doing the pricing of the structures
Ensure healthy conversion of leads while maintaining targeted Loss Ratios
Manage legal and regulatory constraints
Drive the business development of the region with the local business developers:
Work hand in hand with business developers in their mission to grow the pipeline
Build new products based on clients’ needs
Create innovative structures to mitigate impact of climate risks for prospective clients
Build and manage relationship with brokers:
Develop personal network among brokers of the region
Educate brokers to the specificities and advantages of the parametric covers
Focus on the ones who see a true potential to the parametric value proposition
