Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
Nature-based Solutions (NbS) address societal challenges through actions to protect, sustainably manage, and restore natural and modified ecosystems, benefiting people and nature at the same time (IUCN definition).
At AXA Climate, the Nature team is embedded into Public Sector Consulting to help nature proponents (public and/or private) attract more fundings and accelerate their NbS projects through de-risking solutions, from feasibility studies on parametric insurance to the development of financial roadmaps, including modelling of impacts and physical risks projection.
The Nature intern will contribute to developing AXA Climate's recognition in the Nature field by making direct contributions to consulting missions based on AXA Climate's transversal expertise. He/She will be involved in the following activities:
Contribution to large-scale consulting mission(s):
- Assist the project manager for PMO, ensuring smooth execution and timely progress, with precision and efficiency
- Maintain a strong, proactive relationship with multiple partners, ensuring alignment and effective communication to keeping everyone informed and engaged until the end of the project
- Create material for regular meetings, capturing key updates and strategic insights.
Supporting the team in realizing strategic analysis for nature-based stakeholders: Climate risk screening, Biodiversity analysis, Cost-benefits analysis, insurance feasibility study, impact framework definition etc.
Participation to commercial pitches and to the continuous improvement of the consulting offer for Nature.
Assist in the identification and preparation of proposals and responses to calls for proposals from potential clients such as international organizations and development agencies with a nature focus. This would involve internal coordination to align on relevant past experiences and team profiles, research, and support in writing the final document.
