As a full member of the consulting data team, you will have two main missions. You will work on building the necessary modules for consulting, enabling the extraction of climate data, the calculation of relevant indicators for various projects, and impact assessment. Additionally, you may also support consulting missions by addressing the specific needs of consultants and clients in the agriculture sector.

  • Products

    • Implement and maintain efficient and scalable Python modules

    • Maintain an internal front-end application allowing users to interact with these modules

    • Be proactive in improving existing code: new developments, code optimization, etc.

  • Delivery

    • Provide support to consultants in obtaining and interpreting data for consulting missions

    • In more specific cases : develop a full new methodology for a given mission and provide the corresponding data to the consultants

    • Produce pertinent data visualizations

    • Develop new tools for consultants to help them be autonomous on their missions


Profile
  • Qualification: Master degree with a Major/Minor in Statistics, Data Analysis and Python development

  • Strong language skills: French (fluency required) and English (fluency desired)

  • Experience: Former internship with python development would be a plus

  • You have the following hard skills:

    • Strong skills in Statistics and Data Analysis with Python, experience with geospatial libraries and tools could be a plus (e.g., GeoPandas, rasterio, PostGis).

    • Interest in (or proficiency with) Data Engineering tools and workflows, such as collaborative coding using GitLab, cloud computing (e.g., AWS).

    • Proficiency in Python optimization techniques, including parallelization, efficient DataFrame manipulation (e.g., Pandas), and performance tuning.

  • You have the following soft skills:

    • Capacity to learn fast new topics, to deep dive various expertise topics (climate science, ESG, agriculture topics, etc.)

    • Strong communication skills

    • Autonomous and very well organized to align with project timelines

    • Demonstrated interests in climate and environmental issues

    • Pragmatic, Business & Solution-oriented
