As part of AXA Climate Insurance team, the Agriculture Underwriter has a key responsibility for the agriculture business both in terms of growth and profitability, not only to deliver the plan in the day to day, but also to build the strategic assets enabling the delivery of the plan. His missions are both on traditional agriculture insurance and innovative products for the agriculture transition. Here are the main challenges and missions you will be accountable for:
1/ Act as the key contributor for agriculture insurance underwriting at AXA Climate:
Support team with good understand of agriculture sector and its climate-related risks
Lead the statistical modelling and risk analysis of yields for agriculture insurance worldwide
Manage legal and regulatory constraints, such as local set up, and ensuring alignment with local regulation, etc.
2/ Drive the innovative product development for agriculture transition:
Design specific innovative products addressing the needs of agriculture transition practices
Work closely with clients and brokers on the value proposition of these innovative products
Ability to handle the project management launching new products in the market.
Ensure the implementations of these products and their commercial success.
Manage internal stakeholders, capacity provider & risk carrier requirements in cooperation with the AXA Climate CUO and domain lead.
Act as the key contact for our science team for the needs of our agriculture LOB.
3/ Support the AXA Climate Regional teams in the management of their local agriculture portfolio & product development:
Support different regional teams in their mission to grow the local pipeline for agriculture
Understand different needs of local market and their constraints and adapt the products to local needs.
Arrange ad-hoc training for regional underwriters on agriculture topics
