AXA Climate and Altitude


Altitude is part of AXA Climate, who has developed complete business lines to help tackle climate change adaptation (Climate School, Insurance, Consulting for Corporate & Public sector). Globally, we are a team of 250 climate experts, headquartered in Paris, spread over 5 continents and driven by the same desire for impact. Our purpose is to make Climate Adaptation possible.

After 3 years of consulting strongly relying on data and modeling, we launched an innovative product to keep growing and maximize our positive impact: Altitude.

Altitude is a SaaS product, publicly released in September 2022. It is a platform enabling investors and corporates to be autonomous for climate & nature risk management, as well as taking informed decisions for adaptation and resilience. As of today, and globally, 80% of our clients areInfrastructure and Private Equity funds, and 20% are large corporates. Visit www.axa-altitude.com for more information.

The Altitude team is independent within AXA Climate, and growing quickly. We are now 70 people serving +150 clients. You would be joining a Sales team of 10, composed of mostly Account executives, a Growth manager, and a marketing manager.


Your mission as a Account Executive


We are looking for an engaged and passionate AE to convince new clients to use Altitude. Especially, you will be targeting large corporates. The Altitude platform is an innovative one-stop-shop for sustainability and operations teams, screening climate and nature-related risks and opportunities within minutes, very easy to use, and fully automated.

Your main goal will be to grow the number of Altitude’s large corporate clients globally.

To do so, you will be responsible of the full sell-cycle. This includes the following missions:

  • Identify prospects among Sustainability teams, and Operating teams (through cold reach, event participation, partnerships, personal network)

  • Get meetings to generate new qualified opportunities

  • Understand their needs and demonstrate how Altitude can be relevant for them (as well as giving feedbacks to Product people!)

  • Handle the negotiation and contractual part.

The core team is based in Paris.


Profile

  • Experience: 3-5 years of Sales experience in B2B SaaS, including an international Sales experience.

    Experience in Climate or Sustainability startup/scale-up is a strong plus.

  • Sales-oriented: You are a Sales person, you know how to identify new opportunities and close them.

  • Customer-centric & Consultative selling: You are curious, and like to resolve problems and create partnerships with the people you’re working for.

  • Fluent in English and French, additional languages are a plus.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.

  • Organized and rigorous: you pay attention to details in the execution and the follow-up of missions.

  • Interest for Climate Change and ESG/CSR topics.

  • Fantastic team player, with whom it is cool to work alongside.
