Traace is a fast-growing startup that develops a SaaS solution allowing companies to measure, analyze and reduce their carbon emissions.

Led by a talented and passionate team (former Carbone 4, serial entrepreneurs & strategy consultants), our mission is to enable organizations to concretely achieve their carbon reduction goals and meet their targets.

Traace was born in 2020, and our solution is already used by several large and medium-sized companies all around the world. Following our recent fundraising, we are building a Dream Team and are looking for ambitious and committed people to join the adventure!

To carry out this mission, we are today a team of about ten people based at Station F within the HEC incubator, also supported by the WILCO program, recently elected Future 40 and supported by excellent investors :).

Your job : Drive Traace’s growth by acquiring new customers 🚀

Traace is hiring an Account Executive, to fuel Traace’s growth engine by acquiring new customers in Europe and beyond.

By building strong relationships with prospective clients and turning them into happy customers, you will empower companies with technology to help them reduce their climate impact.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced salesperson, with a strong background in sustainability and ESG .

More concretely, you will:

  • Grow Traace’s customer base by owning and nurturing a pipeline of qualified prospects delivered by our sales development representatives
  • Enable consistent growth by securing new accounts, while also identifying additional revenue opportunities within our established client base
  • Negotiate deals with multiple stakeholders from Procurement to C-level
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the aims and business needs of each of your accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing and success teams to deliver tailored value propositions to your prospects through presentations and live product demos
  • Collaborate with the success team to oversee the successful onboarding of new accounts on our Emission Management Platform
  • Delight in rising to the challenge of ambitious growth targets

Qualifications 🏆

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in SaaS, ideally in the B2B Enterprise space
  • Experience and deep understanding of the ESG/Sustainability industry
  • Ability to develop and execute contact plans for complex organizations
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English (French or German is a real plus)
  • Curious, empathetic team player, great at building longlasting relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Hands-on problem solver and strategic thinker
