  • Supervise content production to ensure high-quality multimedia content is delivered on schedule.
  • Ensure all communication outputs (e.g., blogs, reports, videos) are culturally appropriate and respectful of the communities TINTA serves.

3. External communications and media relations

  • Serve as the point of contact for external partners and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration on joint projects and campaigns.
  • Support external engagement activities, such as preparing materials for webinars, events, and presentations, and ensuring they are aligned with the organisation's objectives.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets, coordinating outreach efforts to secure positive media coverage of TINTA supported initiatives.

4. Monitoring and reporting

  • Track and report on the performance of communication initiatives, ensuring that key metrics (e.g., social media engagement, media mentions) are met.
  • Provide regular updates on communication activities and progress to the General Coordinator, identifying any challenges and recommending adjustments.

5. Collaboration and coordination

  • Coordinate with other areas to ensure alignment between communications and broader organisational goals, particularly in relation to fundraising, project development and advocacy efforts.
  • Support Indigenous organisations in communication-related capacity-building efforts, including offering operational guidance on content production and media outreach.
