Since 2014, Padam Mobility has been offering digital solutions for shared mobility (TàD - Transport on Demand, TPRM - Transport for People with Reduced Mobility), to reconnect territories and bring communities closer together.

To achieve this, Padam Mobility offers a software suite of intelligent, flexible solutions that improve the impact of mobility policies for all sections of the public, particularly in areas where demand is low (rural, peri-urban areas, etc.), in order to get users, operators and local authorities moving.

In May 2021, Siemens Mobility, a world leader in public transport, acquired the company to support its growth and round out its intermodal transport offering.

Now a leader in Europe, Padam Mobility is a trusted partner of organising authorities including Île-de-France Mobilités, TAO and Sytral in France and Lincolnshire County Council in the UK, as well as transport operators such as Deutsche Bahn, Keolis, Transdev, Busitalia...


Context


As Padam Mobility is growing and evolving fast, we are recruiting a Head of Business Development to help us develop within the UK & Northern Europe markets.

With David, Chief Revenue Officer, and the rest of the UK & Northern Europe team composed of various people with specific roles such as Business Development (James, Pranav), Customer Success (Antoine, Clément, Sarah), Customer Support (Tahnee), Presales (Fiona, Adriel), your role is to develop public on-demand transport to fit the needs of people and territories.


Your missions


Drive Sales Growth

  • You develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within the public transport and corporate sector,

  • You identify new business opportunities and target key markets to expand our client base in UK & Northern Europe,

  • You conduct sales presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value and benefits of our SaaS offerings,

  • You pursue partnership opportunities with strategic organizations, influencers, and industry leaders to enhance our market presence,

  • You conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • You nurture and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention,

  • You act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their evolving needs and proactively offering relevant solutions,

  • You provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any client concerns or issues.

Management

  • You collaborate with the sales team to coach, advise, motivate, sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force,

  • You provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development,

  • You foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and sharing best practices.


Profile

Are you rigorous, pugnacious and looking to see the impact of your work on people's daily lives? Then you've come to the right place!

More specifically, here are a few signs that you can't go wrong:

  • You speak English at a native level. Proficient French is a plus,

  • You have a solid experience in business development roles, preferably in the SaaS / tech industry,

  • You have proven successes in managing teams of Business Developers and in mentoring and developing junior team members,

  • You have proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth,

  • Negotiating and closing complex sales deals is a game to you,

  • You are the social one, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and partners. 🫸🫷

It's a big plus if :

  • You have experience in managing and winning tenders in the transportation industry,

  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies,

  • You understand On-Demand Mobility and public transport industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer pain points,

  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, international and inter-company teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
