As a Biological Researcher specializing in crustaceans, you will play a key role in developing a new application for our product. You will work in the R&D team, in direct contact with the founders, and report to Oligofeed’s CSO.

You will be involved in defining the scope of the project to develop a new application for our product.
You will be responsible for organizing all aspects of the project: identifying relevant partners, defining and coordinating experiments, analyzing results, etc.
You will be an expert on the subject within the Oligofeed teams and externally.
You will have the opportunity to discover and participate in every aspect of the development of a young startup in a dynamic atmosphere!

The position is a permanent contract based in Gif-sur-Yvette. You’ll be working face-to-face in the dynamic setting of Ferme du Moulon, a place that hosts a collective of startups in a spirit of co-management. The contract starts in September 2024.

You have a PhD in biology, invertebrate nutrition or health (ideally crustaceans) and you’re looking for your first permanent contract. If you’ve already done one or more post-docs, that’s a real plus!
You have technical skills, or a strong curiosity about crustacean aquaculture,
You have a good command of data analysis and are comfortable writing summary reports,
You feel capable of managing a research project from A to Z to develop an innovative new product,
You’re autonomous, organized, able to manage priorities and juggle different tasks,
You’re not afraid of a challenge, and you communicate easily with everyone,
You want to join a young startup as one of the first team members after the founders, and experience the adventure of impact entrepreneurship!
