Kraken is the technology platform enabling Octopus and increasingly more energy utilities globally. The platform is offered to utilities in a SaaS model and is based on a modern, cloud-based architecture with continuous deployments that enables high-speed innovation. 

We have a really exciting position available for an Executive Assistant to the Kraken's European Director. This role is much more than just calendar management and scheduling, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, who can handle a fast paced environment, with strong and creative problem solving skills and a dynamic mindset.

This person will be a point of contact for the Director and other key leaders in the team, involved in onboarding and welcoming new people to the team, helping organise and run internal and external meetings and events for the company and clients, as well as booking team socials.

You'll also have the opportunity to work across different areas in the business and get exposure to things such as Marketing, Recruitment, Onboarding, People Operations - giving you the opportunity to progress with your career at Kraken.

What you'll do...

  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Manage executives’ calendars and set up meetings
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Help to organise, host, and run events both internally and externally for clients and prospective clients
  • Be in charge of internal and external communication across emails, LinkedIn, slack.
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Prepare executives for meetings with informative notes
  • Organise team social events, booking venues, scheduling activities
  • Opportunity to help out in other areas of the business (marketing, onboarding, recruitment, accounting)

What you'll need...

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highly organised
  • Demonstrable time management skills
  • A background in an EA role reporting to a C suite individual in a fast paced company,
  • Or a background within the F&B / hospitality industry (or similar fast paced environment)
  • Speak fluent French and English

This position is "hybrid": in average you will be in the office 3-4 days/week, but some weeks you may have to come to the office 5 days, and some weeks you may have more remote work, depending on the needs
