Main missions
As an intern, in collaboration with the design office, your missions will include:
• Define, specify and justify technical choices
• Design and dimension composite structures and parts
• Generate 3D CAD and 2D drawings
• Ensure manufacturing and assembly feasibility
• Make suggestions for optimizing OceanWings® products
• Participate in the development of design office tools
Internship topics proposal (to be discussed):
In addition to daily activities related to composite design, focus could be done during the internship on one of the following topics:
Composite structure bolted connection design tool
Undertake a research and development campaign along with FEA and structure testing to help in the design of an internal tool for composite bolted connections
Support the design office in daily activities for Oceanwings® composite structure design.
Composite structure bonded connection design tool
Undertake a research and development campaign along with FEA and structure testing to help in the design of an internal tool for composite bonded connections
Support the design office in daily activities for Oceanwings® composite structure design.
Composite structure tests for certification
In the frame of the certification phase with DNV for material tests, intermediate and full-scale tests of an Oceanwings® structure, write tests specifications, follow and analyse tests results and participate in writing test reports.
Support the design office in daily activities for Oceanwings® composite structure design.
