The Programme Funding Manager plays a critical role in the Medair Jordan programme to ensure the grants’ portfolio is managed well, as well as to ensure the programme is strategically placed to scope out and asses new funding opportunities.  The role is responsible to lead, coordinate and facilitate the programme and communications team throughout the grant management life cycle, which  includes  the identification of funding opportunities, preparation of proposals (institutional & private donors), effective implementation (e.g. kick-off meetings, award reviews, documentation, indicator tracking, kick-off, lessons learned, etc), liaison with donors and Medair GSO (Global Support Office) and Affiliate Offices, submission of reports, documentation management compliance to donor rules & regulations, closure of the grants, and audits, and the creation of communication outputs. The role will research new funding sources and support the Senior Management Team (SMT) in donor relationship management when required.
