Jobsthatmakesense.asia (Jobs) is a brand new platform dedicated to finding jobs with a positive social impact in SouthEast Asia. Our mission is to promote professional opportunities that allow everyone to thrive while contributing to the well-being of society. Today, over 150,000 individuals have found their happiness thanks to Jobs in France! It's time to provide such opportunities to people in Asia!

In pursuit of this vision, our makesense Asia team, comprising 15 passionate impact enthusiasts based in Manila and Singapore, is taking on the challenge of bringing Jobs to Southeast Asia.
In this context, we are currently looking for our very first Jobs Asia Communication Officer 🎉
Missions
Your role will involve designing and implementing communication and marketing campaigns centered around finding purposeful work, particularly targeting young individuals aged 18 to 35 in the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about the impact sector, digital communication, and engaging with inspiring content.
Throughout your 9-month contract, you will be responsible for the following missions:
*Community Animation - Lost & Found (30%)*
- Launching and facilitating the online community "Lost and Found." This community will be launched in October 2023 to allow individuals in Southeast Asia seeking purposeful careers, whether in their job search or their current employment, to connect, support each other, learn, and embark on their purpose-driven journey together. Your role will involve welcoming new community members, fostering connections among them, and facilitating conversations.
- Managing the community on Facebook and Linked'in by identifying inspiring content and sharing engagement opportunities.
- Crafting engaging newsletters.
*Strategy Definition and Animation of Jobs that Makesense Asia Communication on LinkedIn and Other Relevant Platforms*
- Creating and writing various communication materials such as articles, press releases, brochures, etc.
- Executing communication campaigns through media relations with specialized outlets, sharing on social media, writing newsletters, and organizing events.
- Identifying partners and mobilizing the impact ecosystem in the region to spread the campaign.
- Monitoring campaign performance and analyzing results.
*Events (50%)*
The focus on purposeful careers is still relatively limited in Southeast Asia, despite being a systemic issue for accelerating the region's economic decarbonization. Moreover, many impactful organizations face significant challenges in recruitment due to inadequate dissemination channels or career pressures blocking potential talents from joining the impact sector. In this context, Jobs will organize numerous events, especially in the Philippines and Singapore, to facilitate best practice sharing and democratize the subject.
- Leading logistics and organizing events.
- Establishing partnerships with venues that can host these events for free.
- Managing partners.
- Animating the events.
- Recruiting volunteers to co-facilitate some events, providing them with training and support until the event day.
- Promoting events on social media.
