Description
The Human Impacts Institute (HII) is seeking a NYC based, seasonal, part-time Environmental Educator & Community Coordinator for 20 hrs per week, from April 1 - September 30, 2024. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about climate and social justice issues, and willassist with our public engagement, education, and events throughout numerous NYC boroughs. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, outgoing “people person” with a passion for public engagement and a keen interest in environmental education.
The Position
Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as an integral member of the HII Crew, the Environmental Educator & Community Coordinator will be responsible for helping facilitate and coordinate our diverse NYC, in person, exhibits, events, and workshops.
