Founded by a group of finance and technology enthusiasts passionate about addressing climate change, Amalthea FS is a start-up company registered in France.
Amalthea FS targets leading companies from the finance industry. Dealing with massive, versatile data volumes, Amalthea helps improve steering and decision-making in the context of regulatory reporting as well as new and non-stationary risks. The scope of these solutions ranges from managing and organizing massive amounts of data to the management of all types of reporting (EU taxonomy for example) climate risks (transition, physical, per region, sector, hazard, etc), and compliance regulatory environment.

Your Mission
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our SaaS platform hosted on AWS. The selected candidate will take ownership of key responsibilities, including CI/CD pipeline management, cloud deployment, production monitoring, and, based on experience, the potential to assume the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Maintain and anhance robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployments, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates.
- Cloud Deployment:
- Manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Production Monitoring:
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
- ISO 27001 Certification (In Progress):
- Contribute to the ongoing ISO 27001 certification process by implementing security controls and best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
- Security (Based on Experience):
- Depending on experience and qualifications, assume responsibilities related to cybersecurity, compliance, and information security as a CISO.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and security policies.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with development and operational goals.
