Akuo Energy Greece was established in 2018 and is the affiliate of Akuo Energy, responsible of the company’s activities in the Greek region. Currently, Akuo Energy Greece is developing a large RES portfolio throughout the country, consisting of PV and Wind Projects (>1GW of projects secured).
Reporting to the Regional Project Manager and the Country Manager, the developer is responsible for the development of renewable energy projects (Solar/Wind) from Green Field to Ready to Build.
Job Description
- Prospecting solar/wind projects: site identification, environmental review, studies, securing land, greenfield M&A opportunities
- Development of relationships and trusted partnerships with local authorities and administrations (RAE, Municipalities, Forest Agencies, Communities of Municipalities, etc.), landowners.
- Achievement of key steps leading to the project's installation license application file (ETA, Grid connection terms, land securitization, social acceptance, etc.)
- Assure the coordination, follow-up and good quality of services provided by AKUO teams and external sub-contractors involved in the projects.
- Management: planning, task monitoring, risk identification, reporting.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience in developing Renewable Energy Projects (Solar/Wind) in the Greek Region, from Green Field to Ready to Build.
- Experienced in public and private land securing processes and negotiation,
- Skilled in Greek environmental policy (ETA process etc.) or MV/HV networks and Grid availability studies and Grid connection offer process (NBGCTO-BGCTO),
- Able to multitask, overseeing the development of multiple projects at the same time,
- Able and willing to work as part of a multicultural team and contribute to the development of a fast-growing company carrying innovative and ambitious projects in the sustainable development sector,
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages. French will be considered a plus.
