Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is one of Europe’s newest and most exciting high-tech companies. Backed by Saft-Total, Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz, ACC is set to power the future of the automotive industry by innovating in battery technology.

We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a cleaner alternative to current energy sources. We have created an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France, and we are building gigafactories in Germany and Italy, in addition to the one already built in Hauts de France.

We need a range of skilled and agile people to bring our vision to life, especially in the areas of industrialization, mechanical design, testing/prototyping and any other function of a new-born company. Accelerating sustainable mobility for all.

In order to optimize the purchasing actions for the benefit of ACC, the Services Buyer :

Manages services purchasing fields from RFQ preparation to delivery
Participates to all relevant preparation meetings.
Acts in close relationship with his internal customers and colleagues.
Manage supplier relationship and deals with all economical aspects.
Leads and/or participates to the RFQs: prepares bid lists and specifications, sends the RFQ files to suppliers and analyses their answers with project team, prepares the supplier choice decisions with project.
After supplier selection, finalizes contract and makes the administrative activity including purchase orders.
Develop frame contracts when possible.
Builds benchmarcks.
Proposes best practices for futures projects.

Transversal Purchasing missions :

Leads and/or participates to implement tool, KPIs, reporting, process and best practices.

Knowledge

Critical thinking
Negociations skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience

2 to 5 years minimum in a Purchasing Department
Experience in Services Fields
Experience in Industry, battery sector is a plus

Qualifications

Diplomas : M2 validated, or an International Master's degree (Bac +5) or Higher

Msc In purchasing is a plus
Languages : French and English read, spoken and written. German is a plus.
Proficient in appropriate software (ERP, SRM, Office...)

Strong cross functional behavior
Quick reporting and sharing of information with Project and Purchasing teams

Some extra skills which make the difference

Experience of project in very constraint context (budget and planning)
Excellent computer skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft, QAD)
Experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tool
