Overall Job Description :


Within the framework of projects, the RTP reports to the industrial project manager.

Its scope of work is the one of the industrial capacity project he belongs to (may represent several blocks and several products).

For each block, product and launch phase, his missions are as follows:

1. Build and update needs for materials, parts and semi-finished products necessary for the testing phases of the industrial project:

  • Build the detailed expression of needs based on data issued by the «process engineering» team,
  • Precise, with the support of the “Customer Project Manager” team:

- The reference and condition (X-sample, prototype parts/ pre-series/ series) of each sample,
- The supplier (internal / external serial / external prototypist),

  • Converge the cost of needs towards the allocated budget, by proposing optimizations (mutualizations, recoveries, alternatives, etc.).

2. Supply requirements for all project phases (Pilot site testing, Supplier FAT, Production SAT)

  • Keep updated the synthesis of material, parts or semi-finished products needs, for the test and ramp-up phases until the switch to serial supply,

The needs are expressed according to:
- The reference and status (X-sample, prototype parts/ pre-series/ series),
- The supplier (internal / external serial / external prototypist),
- Quantity (and type of packaging),
- The place of delivery (process or GF supplier),

  • Negotiate delivery schedules with internal and external suppliers,
  • With the support of the GF Supply Chain and purchasing team, follow up on orders, any internal preparations (storage, packaging, etc.) deliveries and reuses, in line with validated needs.

3. Contribute to the Launch Budget

  • Is involved in the good management of its stocks (Entry/ Exit store).
  • Contributes to the analysis of launch expenses.

He deals with all malfunctions of his scope at the first level and reports the progress of the topics to:

- Process leaders,
- Scheduling assistants,
- Cost deputy,
- Launch / Performance Deputy.
