Social mission

Created in 2005, the Mobile Film Festival is an international festival of short films with a simple principle: 1 Mobile, 1 Minute, 1 Film. The objective: to discover, support and accompany talents from around the world to become the film directors of tomorrow. The choice of mobile phone eliminates all economic constraints so that everyone can participate under the same conditions. The use of the same technology by all participants gives the festival a democratic and egalitarian character on a global scale! The Festival also imposes a strong narrative and scriptwriting constraint - telling a story in a minute - in order to identify the best young authors and directors. The Mobile Film Festival is a 100% digital festival, in order to reach the widest possible audience. However, its creative and very short format, but also the technical quality of the films, allow distribution on all screens: mobile, computer, TV, cinemas… Over the past three years, the Mobile Film Festival has seen 5 international editions, 4000 films received from 132 countries, 78 million views and € 229,000 in grants awarded!
