About One Acre Fund:
More than 70% of the world’s poor rely on agriculture as their primary economic activity. One Acre Fund is a growing social enterprise that is innovating a new way of helping farm families to achieve their full potential. Instead of giving handouts, One Acre Fund invests in farmers to generate a permanent gain in farm income. We provide farmers with a complete “service bundle” that includes financing for seed and fertilizer, delivery, training, and market facilitation to maximize profits from harvest sales. We currently serve over 445,000 farmers across East Africa and are well on our way to serving one million farmers by 2020, and we’re just getting started. One Acre Fund is tripling in size in the next three years and currently has 50+ job openings on our website.
