We believe in a world where all cars are shared. Carsharing empowers people to get going in a smarter, easier way, while also having a positive impact on the environment and making cities more liveable. It’s this vision that propels us forward and inspires us to think even bigger.

Since April 2019, Drivy is now part of Getaround. Together, we’re the world's leading carsharing platform with a community of more than 5 million users sharing over 11,000 connected cars across 7 countries.

Our team is collaborative, positive, curious, and engaged. We think fast, work smart, laugh often, and are looking for like-minded people to join us in our mission to disrupt car ownership and make cities better.

Your mission:

  • You'll be the PM leading the Finance & Risk squads, whose missions are (for Risk) to mitigate risk from our customers and keep safe cars on the platform and (for Finance) to fulfill the financial obligations of the company and the marketplace & empower squads to grow the business. Your squads implement new features and changes in many key parts of the product: from backend “rules engine” to detect fraudulent behaviors, to mobile face verification to ensure the right users are taking our cars, to internal finance systems that support both our finance team and other squads in their finance-critical features.
  • You’ll set the product strategy and empower others to come up with great solutions. As the owners of your roadmap, you and your teammates will be responsible for translating the company's strategic goals into a quarterly action plan.
  • You’ll aim for the optimal outcome on the company’s Objectives and Key Results: the value delivered to our business and our users matters more than the number of releases shipped.
  • You’ll drive your teammates through the full product cycle: problem identification, user research, ideation, design, development, and launch.
  • You’ll be responsible for delivering high quality features to both our website and mobile apps.
  • What you'll work on:

  • You’ll have a direct and strong impact on key company business metrics, namely by building features that increase the trust and reduce the number of incidents in order to improve our insurance loss ratio - one of the main levers for the success of our business. A few examples of the challenging problems you’ll be tackling:
  • Risk Management

  • Detecting and catching fraudulent users by building a rules engine based on a series of suspicious actions - both through deterministic and machine-learning rules.
  • Adapting our driver acceptance conditions by creating user segmentation and statistical risk profiles of our users, based on their behavior on the platform.
  • Building the most seamless while efficient profile verification tools to ensure we know our drivers.
  • Finance

  • Matching all invoices of the claims process in order to give a detailed view of expenses to our users who had a damage, and accompany them in this stressful experience.
  • Handle the payments and authorization system taking into account the business constraints and user needs.
  • Maintaining the partnership with our existing payment provider (or create new ones).
  • Who you will be working with:

  • In Europe, our product & engineering team consists of 4 PMs, 6 Product Data Analysts, 2 Data Scientists, 3 Product Designers, 1 User-Researcher and 25 Engineers.
  • You’ll report to Charles, our Head of Product Management.
  • You’ll work hand-in-hand with Badre (Head of Fraud), Pierre (VP Ops & Risk), Sabrina (Head of e-Payments).
  • You’ll drive a squad of talented backend and fullstack developers, a product data analyst, as well as mobile and design resources.
  • What you will bring to the table:

  • Experience: you have at least 5 years of professional experience in product management or an adjacent role. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a finance business, in a risk management environment, in the mobility sector, or in a marketplace business.
  • Attention to detail: you like to understand the fine technicalities of things, and build reliable and resilient systems. You’re at ease with technical topics and always have an eye on edge cases.
  • User empathy: you’re empathetic, and make it a habit to put yourself in your users’ shoes in order to understand the issues they’re facing.
  • Communication: you’re excellent at summarizing any problem and at explaining the big picture, both in written and verbal form. You share information proactively.
  • Project management: you’ve proved that you can successfully drive large projects involving lots of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English: you can work in English on a daily basis.
  • Environmental awareness: you have a strong desire to make our cities better places to live by transforming mobility.
  • 👉 If your profile doesn't check all of the above yet, you can still apply and we’ll let you know if we think this position can be a good fit for you.
