Who offers Civic Service missions?
Led by the Civic Service Agency, this is a form of volunteering open to all young people aged 18 to 25. To promote access for disabled adults to this system, civic service has even been extended to the age of 30 for people with disabilities. It should be noted that host organizations for volunteering missions must be non-profit legal persons or public establishments which have been approved.
What is the Civil Service salary?
Financially, volunteers in civic service benefit from an allowance paid by the State as well as additional support paid by the host structure for a minimum total amount of €580.55 per month (in 2022) . From a contractual point of view, the civic service mission is not an internship, volunteering or salaried employment, but it gives access to volunteer status.

10 priority areas of action have been selected within the framework of civic service: solidarity and social cohesion, health, culture and leisure, education for all and the fight against dropping out, sport, the environment , memory and citizenship, international development and humanitarian action, emergency intervention and finally European citizenship.
What are the objectives of a civic service mission?
The objective of civic service is to develop the civic and civic culture of volunteers, through an enriching experience, thus allowing them to refine their professional project. During the missions, the teams of volunteers develop new skills and participate in civic and citizen training (FCC), with a practical and theoretical component.
